The UWI School of Business and Applied Studies Ltd (UWI-ROYTEC) is pleased to announce its collaboration with Eshe’s Learning Centre to offer a two-year internship programme to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Education Degree Programme. The internship will validate UWI-ROYTEC’s approach to teacher education as an applied science of teaching and learning. Students will benefit from on-the-job training and teacher preparation in handling children with disabilities in the classroom.
Some of the benefits of the internship programme include:
- Classroom mentorship by qualified teachers in Special Education
- Participation in staff professional development sessions
- Exposure to best pedagogical approaches
